Galvalume steel (usually called GL steel material) is a type of steel product coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy, typically composed of approximately 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. This alloy coating combines the superior corrosion resistance of aluminum with the sacrificial protection of zinc, which helps in providing long-lasting performance under a wide range of climate conditions. Galvalume steel materials feature a distinctive metallic luster and snowflake-like spangle.
