Steel Truss Floor Deck
The Steel Reinforced Truss Deck (also known as Steel Truss Deck) is a type of composite structural material that integrates steel bar trusses with metal decking sheets (also referred to as floor steel plates or floor support panels). It consists of a profiled steel sheet (decking plate) combined with upper and lower chord rebars and diagonal web rebars, all prefabricated in the factory into a steel bar truss, which is then welded or tied to the decking sheet. This system serves both as formwork and structural reinforcement for cast-in-place concrete floors.
By fully replacing traditional formwork, the system eliminates the need for formwork erection and dismantling, which could significantly improve construction efficiency. As for its economical, convenient, safe, and reliable features, the steel truss deck system now is widely used, such as multi-story industrial plants, high-rise steel structures, irregular floor slabs, reinforced concrete structures, and high-speed railway projects.
