Steel truss floor decks are structural systems that integrate the advantages of reinforced concrete and prefabricated steel components. In areas with high humidity or underground installation, more durable coatings can help extend the service life of the structure and lower future maintenance costs.
Compared to traditional cast-in-place slabs, the steel truss floor deck offers a more efficient use of materials and labor. Because reinforcement is placed according to structural demands, material waste is reduced and construction costs are better controlled.
